Website and marketplace terms
Effective for new purchases from 17 October 2026.
1. Who operates the site
These terms cover Go-Pods.co.uk and the website services supplied by Go Promotions Ltd trading as Go-Pods Micro Tourer Caravans (“we”, “us”). Our correspondence address is 2 Tower House, Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 8UR (C/O Roberts & Co) and our contact email is [email protected]. Company number 13428075, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: 2 Tower House, Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 8UR (C/O Roberts & Co).
The particular package, price, duration and included services shown when you order form part of your agreement. Mandatory consumer rights take priority over these terms.
2. Our role and independent sellers
We provide information, advertising, enquiry handling, viewing introductions and the paid listing/dealer services described on the site. Unless a particular offer expressly identifies us as the seller, we do not own the advertised caravan or accessory and are not the seller under its purchase contract.
A purchase from an independent private seller, dealer or retailer is a separate agreement with that seller. Their identity, payment arrangements, delivery, warranty and applicable sale terms should be confirmed before purchase. Red Lion Caravan Centre Ltd’s own sale terms may apply to purchases from Red Lion; they are not the terms for buying an advertising service from us.
We provide the platform on which independent sellers advertise. A caravan purchase contract is between the buyer and the seller identified in the advert, not us. We do not inspect or certify privately or independently advertised caravans and do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of a seller’s claims, ownership, condition, roadworthiness, safety, quality, fitness for a particular purpose or compliance with applicable requirements. Buyers should make their own enquiries, arrange any appropriate inspection and obtain assurances directly from the seller. The seller remains responsible for their description and obligations under the sale contract. This does not limit responsibility for our own statements or conduct where the law makes us responsible.
Accessories displayed on the site are advertised or referred on behalf of independent suppliers or linked retailers. We do not sell or supply those accessories directly. We do not inspect, test or certify them and give no warranty or guarantee as to their condition, quality, efficacy, performance, compatibility, safety or suitability for a particular Go-Pod, vehicle, installation or use. Check the product specification, compatibility, fitting requirements and intended use with the actual supplier and, where appropriate, a qualified installer before ordering. The supply contract, delivery, installation, returns, refunds and product warranty are matters between you and the supplier, subject to your statutory rights. Describing an item as “Most popular”, featuring it or receiving a referral commission does not make us its seller or constitute a product certification. None of this excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or responsibility for a misleading statement we make ourselves.
An accessory order request or configuration enquiry is not an accepted sale or a promise of stock availability. The identified supplier confirms the quotation, stock, fitting, delivery, payment and contract. Listing fees paid to us do not pay for a caravan or accessory, and we do not hold the purchase money as an escrow service.
3. Accounts and accurate information
You must provide accurate details, keep your sign-in credentials secure and contact us promptly about suspected unauthorised use. You must be at least 18 and authorised to enter the relevant agreement. Dealers must identify themselves as businesses; businesses must not advertise as private sellers.
You remain responsible for information and photos you submit, including descriptions generated from your selections. Check any generated wording before publishing. You must have the right to use uploaded photographs and other material. Do not submit illegal, misleading, discriminatory, infringing or irrelevant material, or private information about another person without a lawful reason.
4. Listing services
Your package describes the fee, duration, listing allowance and any included promotion. The total charges are disclosed before payment. Payment alone does not publish an incomplete or ineligible advert. Publication depends on completing the required details, verification and applicable checks.
The confirmed expiry date shown in your account governs the advert’s term. We do not guarantee a sale, enquiry volume, valuation, particular buyer, ranking or price. A listing’s success depends on factors including its price, condition and market demand.
A listing is for one specific Go-Pod. You may correct its price, description, extras and photographs but may not replace it with a different caravan, reuse a sold advert for new stock, impersonate a seller or evade applicable listing charges. Year, model and shell colour are locked after first publication; corrections require a request and our review. We may ask for reasonable supporting evidence.
Tell us when the Go-Pod is sold and mark the advert accordingly. A correction or other edit does not restart or extend the paid term. Renewals require a separate purchase unless the package expressly says otherwise.
5. Dealer services
Dealer packages are business services with the duration and concurrent listing allowance shown when purchased. Current dealer terms are fixed-term and do not renew automatically. When the term ends, continued publication requires an active entitlement. Changes to future packages do not retrospectively change a package already purchased.
Dealers remain responsible for their business disclosures, consumer sale obligations, product descriptions and warranties. Our approval of a dealer account does not certify every advertised product or guarantee a buyer’s transaction.
6. Cancellation and refunds
If you buy our advertising service as a consumer, you have a right to cancel the distance service contract during the 14 days starting the day after the contract is made. You may cancel by a clear statement to [email protected] or 2 Tower House, Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 8UR (C/O Roberts & Co); use of the model cancellation form below is optional.
You may expressly request that we start providing the advertising service immediately, during the 14-day cancellation period. We record this request separately from acceptance of these terms and include it in your confirmation. Where the law permits, a cancellation after that start can require a proportionate payment for services actually supplied. Publication by itself does not automatically mean that an ongoing advertising service has been fully performed. Loss of cancellation rights following full performance requires the legally required prior request/acknowledgement; no blanket waiver is assumed.
Refunds due following statutory cancellation will be made within the applicable legal period, normally within 14 days of being told of the cancellation, using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Any permitted deduction must be explained. This does not affect remedies for services that fail to meet statutory standards.
Business customers do not receive the statutory consumer cooling-off right merely by purchasing online. After a consumer cancellation period, a change of mind or early sale does not itself create an automatic refund entitlement, subject to the agreed package, applicable law and any failure by us to supply the promised service. We will not use these terms to retain payment for a service we have unjustifiably failed to provide.
Optional cancellation form: To Go Promotions Ltd trading as Go-Pods Micro Tourer Caravans, 2 Tower House, Hoddesdon, Herts, EN11 8UR (C/O Roberts & Co), [email protected]. I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: [package/listing]. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [name]. Address: [address]. Order reference: [reference]. Date: [date]. Signature only if submitted on paper.
7. Moderation and availability
We may refuse, pause or remove material, or restrict an account, where reasonably necessary to address unlawful content, fraud, misleading listings, security concerns or a material breach. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and offer a way to contact us or correct a problem. Immediate action may be necessary for serious risk or legal requirements.
Any decision about fees or refunds will take account of the reason, services already supplied and applicable rights. There is no automatic forfeiture of all fees under this clause. We may temporarily interrupt the site for maintenance or faults and will take reasonable steps to restore service. Contact us if an interruption materially affects a paid service so we can assess a suitable remedy.
8. Enquiries, trade offers and owner viewings
We pass an enquiry to the seller or identified contact so they can respond. We do not guarantee a response or the accuracy of a third party’s statements. Inspect a caravan, verify the seller’s authority and confirm payment and sale details before buying.
Trade-offer introductions are optional and currently arranged by our team. An introduction is not a guaranteed offer or valuation. A dealer’s offer may be lower than a private sale price; you decide whether to accept it.
Owner viewings are arranged with participating hosts and are subject to availability and confirmation. A host is not automatically our employee, representative, engineer or the seller of a new Go-Pod. Respect the agreed appointment and the host’s privacy and property. Separate clearly disclosed programme terms govern any host reward; an introduction does not itself guarantee a reward or purchase.
9. Site content and links
Our guides, calculators and other content provide general information. They do not replace manufacturer instructions, vehicle-specific limits, qualified advice or an inspection. Check information relevant to your intended purchase or use. This does not exclude responsibility for statements or services for which we are legally responsible.
Some retailer and referral links can generate income for us, as disclosed on the site. Third-party websites have their own terms. You may use our site content for personal purposes; permission is needed for commercial republication beyond uses allowed by law. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, format, display and promote submitted listing material as needed to supply the agreed service, including included stock-alert promotion. This does not transfer ownership of your material.
10. Responsibility and complaints
We are responsible for supplying our own services with reasonable care and skill. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory consumer rights.
For consumers, our responsibility for loss arising from breach or negligence is subject to the applicable legal rules, including whether the loss was reasonably foreseeable. We are not automatically responsible for a separate seller’s breach simply because their advert appeared here.
Please send complaints to [email protected], identifying the service or listing and the outcome you seek. We will investigate and respond within a reasonable time. No mandatory arbitration or restriction on statutory complaint or court rights is imposed by these terms.
11. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms for future use and purchases. The version provided when you buy a service continues to govern that purchase except where a lawful, fairly agreed change applies. We will provide notice of material changes where required.
English law governs these terms, without taking away mandatory protections available to consumers in other UK jurisdictions. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts available to them under applicable law, including their home UK jurisdiction where entitled. Business disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales.
