External 240V Socket

An invaluable accessory for those camping on hook up, this mains outlet provides a live 240V socket on the exterior of your Go-Pod, whenever you’re plugged into mains power.

Ideal for those electric grills or for providing awning power for entertainment, heating, lights and so on. Weatherproof design with snap-shut flap.

Not to be confused with the Go-Pod's mains hook up socket, (where your mains cable inserts), which comes as standard on all models.

This is a great idea..stops you having wires running from the Pod to awning and/or outside. I use it for all my bits n bobs in the awning..or sometimes a heater on chilly nights in the awning.

The great thing about this external socket is that you don't need to have any trailing wires coming out of your Pod and into your awning. This was on the "must have" list for us and it is very useful. The Pod has a fabulous LED light over the door but I also have a fab camping pendant light for my awning that is dimmable so this socket is perfect for that. Also, I don't put food in the coolbox when I am travelling and use a thermoelectric coolbag. I can use the socket for the coolbag to keep my drinks chilled outside in the awning rather than putting them in the Pod fridge which leaves me more room in there for food. Highly recommended.
