Importing a Go-Pod
A guide to importing a Go-Pod from the UK, for EU and other non-UK based customers

If you'd like to purchase a Go-Pod of your own, but we don't yet have a dealer in your country (or you'd like to buy from us directly for other reasons), the process is easy!
We've helped hundreds of customers across the globe to import their own Go-Pods and we'll make the process as simple and stress free as possible for you.
Here's how it works
We've broken it down into an easily digestible 5 step process, and will be on hand to guide you throughout.
Step 1 - choose your Go-Pod & accessories
Select the Go-Pod you'd like to purchase and get a list together of any additional accessories/upgrades you'd like to add.
Email it over to us along with your details (name, address, postcode, telephone number) and we'll prepare a full quotation including delivery to your home.
If you'd like to get a rough idea of the landed cost (the Go-Pod & accessories of your choosing, plus delivery costs, import duty, VAT and any other applicable fees) you can use the calculator further down this page.
Important note: Your order will be classed as an "export", and therefore the 20% UK VAT included in our pricing will be removed for you. This will help to offset the delivery cost & any VAT/duty levied by the customs department in your country.
Step 2 - place your order
If you're happy with the quotation, we'll raise an invoice for you to pay us via bank transfer.
Once payment is received, we'll book your Go-Pod into our workshop for fitting of the chosen accessories/upgrades and arrange the delivery with our transport partner.
Step 3 - arrange delivery & clear customs in advance
Once the delivery is arranged, we'll ask you for a few details to enable the customs broker to clear the Go-Pod with your country's customs department before it arrives. This usually includes the following:
A form of identification (passport, drivers license or national ID card)
Proof of residency (utility bill, bank statement or official government correspondence)
Your social security number (not applicable in some countries)
The customs broker will ask you to sign a "Direct Representation Form" to allow them to deal with the customs department on your behalf.
We'll provide the customs broker with your full invoice (marked as "PAID"), delivery details and delivery vehicle details, which will allow them to log the import with the customs department, who will in turn advise the total amount of duty/VAT that is due for payment.
The customs broker will then send you an invoice for the total VAT & duty levied. Once you have paid them, they will clear the balance with the customs department and your Go-Pod will be able to pass the customs check without any issues.
Step 4 - the Go-Pod is collected from our premises
The Go-Pod will be collected from our premises and make the journey to your home. We'll provide a delivery estimate before it is collected and provide regular updates while it's in transit.
Step 5 - your new Go-Pod is delivered to your home!
Once the Go-Pod is delivered, we can arrange a video call with one of our sales team to provide a guided handover demonstration. Alternatively, you can watch our handover videos on our website.
You may need to register your Go-Pod with the relevant department in your country in order to obtain the license plates - we'll walk you through the process and provide any paperwork that you may need to do so.
Want to see a Go-Pod first?
If we don't have a dealer or other viewing options in your country, you can view online via video call with a member of our sales team.
They will video call you via one of the popular apps (FaceTime, WhatsApp, Skype, Teams, Google Meet or Zoom) from inside a demonstration model to give you a guided virtual tour of a Go-Pod.
They'll demonstrate the features, explain the various accessory and upgrade options and allow plenty of time for you to ask any questions.
Non-EU customers
We can also export Go-Pods via sea freight - we've helped customers in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Chile and South Africa in recent years, to name just a few destinations.
We have a network of reliable transport partners who can facilitate deliveries to almost any location in the world, so if you'd like to discuss options, please contact us!
